World-Class Warehouse and Inventory Control Operations

Introduction

Despite every effort to eliminate warehousing and the inventory housed within, warehousing will continue to play a critical role in assuring high levels of customer service and overall logistics performance. Warehousing minimizes the effects of supply chain inefficiencies; improves logistics accuracy and inventory management; and allows product accumulation, consolidation, and customization.
