Introduction
The management of the crowded space is perceived as a complex activity, however, much of the theory and practice is based on simple concepts. Once you understand these concepts, the development and delivery of management activities encompassing the event can be planned and managed rather than controlled. This short course is aimed at professionals who work with, or plan around, crowded space at events. Participants will have the opportunity to examine good practice and lessons identified from events and incidents. You will also assess the arrangements in your own organization and compare these with others involved in public safety.
